I added the friend connect gadget on this Blogger blog.
It was (obviously) easy: as Blogger is a Google platform, I did not have to upload any file on the hoster site, I simply had to fill up a form and copy the (customized) gadget html snippet on this page, using the standard tools offered.
So… let’s see how this FriendConnect works!
Bye,
Andrea

Maybe you already know about this, I discovered this only today (thanks Claudio).
Try this: go to google.com, perform a search, then in the address bar add to the querystring the following:
&as_qdr=d
you will obtain the same page, but with a new dropdown list right before the "Search" button. With this, you have the chance to restrict the time span of your query!
For example, you can have Google return results only from the last past week!!!
Now this is a great idea, for some kind of searches.

It's amazing: the new version of Google Maps for Mobile is able to determine your position based not on GPS signal, but using the relative position of GSM cells around you.
And it works!
Here is a screenshot of "me" in my office, in Milan:
It's a really good program, until now I found only a minor problem: during setup, even if you ask to install GMaps on your memory card, the setup will install the app on the main memory; so that you then have to move everything by hand and recreate the shortcuts... then it works.

I just discovered Google Notebook, and it looks promising.
To use it you need a (for IE) 170kb browser addon, and if you want to give a look to a tutorial, you can go here.
The main use of Google notebook is to collect information ("web clips") from differente sources, mainly web pages. Then you can access what you collected, and organize them as you like.
The main thing to observe here is that this useful feature is... google-based!!! I mean that every single byte you insert into your notebooks is stored on Google computers - I do not mean that it can be considered "public", but I will not send my credit card number out there... ;-)
Let me know if you decide to use it, and your opinion!
