I’m working on a little application for the new Windows Phone 7 operating system.
The app, TimeToRead, is a client for Read It Later (http://readitlaterlist.com). Its goal is to let you access your “reading list” when you have time… to read something you pinned earlier.
It will provide you the lists of read / unread / all articles; tapping an article you can read it directly from the web version or choose to read only the “text version” (this is a service provided by readitlaterlist.com site), mark as read an article and finally tweet about the article on your Twitter account.
The app uses some libraries like json.net and Hammock for REST in order to access the external sites. It’s not very complicated, still I think that it can be useful – let’s see.
A few screenshots:
and here’s a little video I posted on Msdn Italy’s Facebook page – it’s not of the latest release, but it gives an idea.
Ciao!

Hi, great app, loving it! I am having difficulty in marking articles as read - they don't leave the unread list. Is there something I am missing? Please fix and I'll upgrade your rating to 5 stars on the market place!
Cheers.
Hi there, also loving the app but wondered is there anything I need to do to ensure I have the articles to read offline for later or is this a feature that's coming in the future?
Cheers, Iain!
Great start with your app, so many thanks for that. Is this somehting you're planning to build on - or was it just a basic test-case for wp7 dev..? Key wish for me would be offline sync for all articles on load (as opposed to what currently seems to be manually save for offline reading). Also, would be really useful to show site icons in main list - so you can quickly jump to/select key articles for reading. Please let me know/keep up the good work! ;)
